Craig Bellamy has confirmed his line-up for today's Round 5 fixture against the Manly Sea Eagles at Brookvale Oval.
Moses Leo will make his NRL debut, becoming Storm player #240 this afternoon. Leo will line-up at centre with Grant Anderson shifting to the wing, while Tyran Wishart will fill the utility role off the interchange bench.
Bronson Garlick, Alec MacDonald and Tui Kamikamica complete the makeup of the interchange.
Lazarus Va’alepu will be 18th man.
Leo becomes Storm player #240
Moses Leo joined Melbourne Storm’s NRL squad in November, 2024 after New Zealand Rugby granted him an early release from his 7s contract.
He represented New Zealand Rugby 7s at the 2024 Paris Olympics. He made his All Blacks 7s debut in Singapore in 2022 and played 82 matches. Leo was also a member of the bronze medal-winning All Black Sevens team at the Commonwealth Games in Birmingham.
The outside back enjoyed a strong pre-season and impressed coaches with his effort throughout the summer - a quad injury hampered the back end of his pre-season training block.
The 27-year-old played league during his school days before becoming an All Blacks 7s star. He made his official return to rugby league last weekend, playing 80 minutes for Storm’s feeder team the North Sydney Bears.
