All three of Melbourne Storm's feeder teams were in action over the weekend for Round 6 of the Queensland and NSW Cup competitions.

North Sydney Bears

The North Sydney Bears faced off against the Rabbitohs on Sunday, starting strong with two early tries and heading into half-time with a 14-4 lead.

They maintained their dominance in the second half, crossing for three more tries to seal a convincing 30-12 victory.

Ativalu Lisati played the full 80 minutes and was a key contributor with his relentless defensive efforts. Storm Academy player Jak Goulding also featured off the bench, playing a valuable role in the Bears’ win.

The Bears will have a bye this week before returning in Round 8.

Sunshine Coast Falcons

The Falcons took on the undefeated Norths Devils on Saturday and put up a brave fight but ultimately fell short, going down 16-26.

Sua Fa’alogo and Lazarus Vaalepu both featured for the Falcons and put in strong individual performances, but it wasn’t enough to get their side over the line.

The Falcons will have the weekend off and will look to bounce back the following round against the Redcliffe Dolphins.

Brisbane Tigers

The Brisbane Tigers delivered a dominant performance against the Souths Logan Magpies, starting fast to take a 14-0 lead into the break. They carried their momentum through the second half to claim a 26-14 victory.

Keagan Russell-Smith was a standout off the bench, scoring two tries, converting one, and adding a penalty goal.

The Tigers will also have the weekend off before returning to face the Townsville Blackhawks.
