Making his HostPlus Cup debut for Storm feeder club Sunshine Coast Falcons in 2021, Vaalepu’s strong form in pre-season opportunities and at feeder level has him primed to be a talent to watch in the coming years.
Vaalepu earnt an opportunity to train alongside the Storm squad ahead of the 2023 season and that six-week train-and-trail led to the Canberra Raiders junior signing an NRL contract for seasons 2024 and 2025.
Featuring in both of Storm’s pre-season trial matches, Vaalpeu will certainly be one to watch as he pushes for regular NRL action this season.
