Brodie Croft will likely miss the remainder of the 2017 season after injuring his hamstring.
The young halfback suffered the injury whilst attempting to score a try for feeder side Easts Tigers during their Elimination Final win over the Townsville Blackhawks on Sunday.
Croft underwent scans on Monday morning that confirmed a Grade 2 strain, meaning he is very unlikely to play again this year.
The 19-year-old has played four NRL games in 2017 and provided Storm fans with an exciting glimpse of the future.
Croft's match-winning field goal in Round 15 against the Cowboys remains one of the highlights of the season.
In July he re-signed with the Club to remain in Melbourne until at least the end of the 2020 season.
